(HALIFAX, N.S.) Isabel Sarty from the Dalhousie Tigers women's swim team and Stephen Anderson from the UNB Reds men's hockey team have been named the Subway AUS Athletes of the Week for their respective performances for this past week.

Isabel Sarty from the Dalhousie Tigers women’s swimming team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female athlete of the week for the week ending Nov. 18, 2018.
A second-year neuroscience student from Halifax, N.S., Sarty led the Tigers to a first-place team finish at the 2018 Kemp-Fry Invitational Swim Meet held this past weekend.
She dominated the women’s freestyle events, winning the 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m swims. She set a new conference and school record in the 100m event which was previously set by fellow Tiger Molly Wedge in 2013.
Sarty was also an integral part of all three winning relay teams, including the 400m freestyle relay which also set new AUS and Dalhousie record.

Year of eligibility: Fourth
Academic program: BBA
Stephen Anderson of the UNB Reds men’s hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male athlete of the week for the week ending Nov. 18, 2018.
A fourth-year business student from Morell, P.E.I., Anderson had a pair of two-goal games as the Reds managed two impressive road wins to improve to 12-0-2 on the season. He was named Subway Player of the Game in both games.
On Friday, Anderson scored twice, including the game-winning goal, and added an assist as UNB beat rival StFX 5-1.
On Saturday, he had two goals in the Reds’ 5-1 win over the Dalhousie Tigers.
