(HALIFAX, N.S.) Dalhousie Tigers women's volleyball setter Courtney Baker and UNB Reds men's basketball power forward Ibrahima Doumbouya have been named the Subway AUS Athletes of the Week for their respective performances for this past week.

Courtney Baker of the Dalhousie Tigers women’s volleyball team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female athlete of the week for the week ending Nov. 11, 2018.
A fourth-year kinesiology student from Bridgewater, N.S., Baker led the Tigers to two regular season wins this past weekend.
She had 20 assists, five kills, four digs and two block assists while leading the Tigers to a 3-0 win over the visiting Moncton Aigles Bleues Friday night to earn Subway Player of the Game honours.
On Saturday, she added 19 assists, six kills, four digs, one service ace and a block assist in the Tigers 3-0 win over the UNB Reds.

Position: Forward
Hometown: Calgary, Alta.

Academic program: BRSS
Ibrahima Doumbouya of the UNB Reds men’s basketball team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male athlete of the week for the week ending Nov. 11, 2018.
A second-year recreation and sport studies student from Calgary, Alta., Doumbouya was instrumental in UNB’s sweep of U SPORTS no. 4-ranked Dalhousie Tigers.
In Friday’s 72-59 win, he registered a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
On Saturday, coming off the bench, he led the Reds with 23 points and six rebounds in a 92-79 win, and earning Subway Player of the Game honours.
