(HALIFAX, N.S.) Rebecca Clark of the Saint Mary's Huskies women's hockey team and Jonathan Cyr of the Dalhousie Tigers men's hockey team have been named the Subway AUS Athletes of the Week for their respective performances for this past week.

Rebecca Clark of the Saint Mary’s Huskies women’s hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female athlete of the week for the week ending Feb. 4, 2018.
A third-year goaltender from Keswick, Ont., Clark allow just two goals in three wins this past week for Saint Mary’s. She faced a total of 61 shots.
Wednesday, the Huskies topped the St. Thomas Tommies 4-2 in Halifax. Clark made 22 saves. She then had two shutouts Saturday and Sunday as Saint Mary’s topped Dalhousie 2-0 and StFX 5-0. Clark had 13 saves against the Tigers and 25 against the U SPORTS no. 3-ranked X-Women.
She currently boasts a goals against average of 1.08—the lowest in the country. She is leading the AUS conference in wins, goals against average and save percentage.

Jonathan Cyr of the Dalhousie Tigers men’s hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male athlete of the week for the week ending Feb. 4, 2018.
A first-year forward from Ottawa, Cyr scored the game-winning goal Wednesday in Halifax versus the Moncton Aigles Bleus. He also notched an assist on Dalhousie’s first goal in the 2-1 victory.
With the win, the Tigers secured the sixth and final AUS playoff berth, marking their first postseason appearance since 2011. Cyr was named Subway Player of the Game.
Friday in Antigonish, N.S., Dalhousie downed the U SPORTS no. 1-ranked StFX X-Men 7-3. Cyr had a goal and two assists in the win and was named the game’s second star.
