(HALIFAX, N.S.) Maya Reynolds of the Dalhousie Tigers women's track and field team, along with Holden Cook of the StFX X-Men hockey team have been named the Subway AUS Athletes of the Week for their respective performances for this past week.

Maya Reynolds of the Dalhousie Tigers women’s track and field team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female athlete of the week for the week ending Dec. 3, 2017.
A second-year commerce student from Markham, Ont., Reynolds won two events at the ANS Last Chance Meet on Saturday at the Canada Games Centre.
She won the 60m dash with a personal-best tying time of 7.69 to start her season. She followed it up with a win in the 60m hurdles, earning AUS first-place ranking in both events.

Holden Cook of the U SPORTS No. 4-ranked StFX X-Men hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male athlete of the week for the week ending Dec. 3, 2017.
A third-year forward from Oshawa, Ont., Cook tallied four points in two wins on the road this past week for the X-Men.
He scored the game-winning goal Wednesday night in StFX’s 2-0 win over the Dalhousie Tigers in Halifax. In Saturday’s 5-2 win over the Moncton Aigles Bleus, he notched three assists.
