(HALIFAX, N.S.) - Rebecca Clark of the Saint Mary's Huskies women's hockey team and Kristen O'Brien of the Dalhousie Tigers men's volleyball team have been named the Subway AUS Athletes of the Week for their respective performances for this past week.

Rebecca Clark of the Saint Mary’s Huskies women’s hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female athlete of the week for the week ending Nov. 20, 2016.
A second-year environmental science student from Keswick, Ont., Clark recorded her third consecutive shutout Sunday in the Huskies’ 1-0 win over the Dalhousie Tigers.
She turned away 27 shots on Saturday in the Huskies 2-0 win over UPEI and made another 14 saves Sunday versus Dalhousie.
Clark currently leads the AUS with the best win percentage (.778), save percentage (.948) and goals against average (1.20).

University: Dalhousie University
Sport: Men’s Volleyball
Hometown: Truro, N.S.
Year of eligibility: Fifth
Academic program: Kinesiology
Kristen O’Brien of the Dalhousie Tigers men’s volleyball team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male athlete of the week for the week ending Nov. 20, 2016.
A fifth-year kinesiology student from Truro, N.S., O’Brien led the Tigers to a weekend sweep of the UNB Varsity Reds in Fredericton, N.B. this past weekend.
In Friday night’s 3-2 victory, he had 23 kills, eight digs and five blocks for 25.5 total points in the match. He was hot again on Saturday with 23.5 total points after posting 20 kills, four blocks and 11 digs in the Tigers 3-2 win.
O’Brien was the Subway Player of the Game in both matches and is currently ninth in the country in points per set.
