Saturday, Oct. 22 

Football: StFX at Acadia 

The X-Men visit the Axemen at Raymond Field in Wolfville, N.S. With a 5-1 record so far this season, the StFX X-Men have clinched first place and hosting rights to the 2016 Subway AUS Loney Bowl being held Nov. 12 in Antigonish, N.S.

Acadia suffered a tough loss in their homecoming game last weekend, losing 15-13 to Mount Allison after a Axemen field goal was blocked in the final minute. Sitting in last place (1-5), the Axemen are in pursuit of a much-needed win in an effort to earn a place in the Nov. 5 semifinal game. 

Game time: 2 p.m. AST

Football: Saint Mary's at Mount Allison

The Huskies and the Mounties currently sit tied in the standings, each with a 2-4 record. Saint Mary's suffered a tough 45-6 loss last weekend at the hands of the first-place StFX X-Men. But they have earned wins against the Mounties in both of their earlier meetings this season. 

Coming off a win last weekend versus Acadia, the Mounties look to gain an edge in the standings Saturday as they fight for a playoff spot and the hosting rights to the championship semifinal.

Inside the AUS: Season 5, Episode 6

St. Thomas women's hockey, UNB men's soccer & StFX alumnus and Olympian Eric Gillis

In this week's episode, Inside the AUS goes on the road to Fredericton and Antigonish. Mike Specht visits the STU Alumni women's hockey game, and the UNB Varsity Reds men's soccer team. Raeesa Lalani interviews Olympian Eric Gillis at halftime, on homecomig weekend at StFX. Check it out here
